Special Rates for Volunteer Fire Companies

UEMS is a full service occupational health clinic fully capable of meeting your fire company’s needs regarding the required annual physical assessments.

Below is a list of services available for your fire company. We utilize NFPA, OSHA and PESH standards to determine fitness for duty ensuring that your volunteers are best prepared to perform their jobs. We are able to perform most testing at your site. Anyone unable to attend an on-site scheduled session can have their evaluations performed at our clinic located at the Erie County Medical Center Emergency Department at no additional cost to your company. Please contact us to arrange your site visit.

Interior Fire Fighters will receive:
Physical examination & Vital Signs with and without exercise Fit Testing & Respiratory Questionnaire
Urine analysis
Vision Screening
Pulmonary function testing
                                                                        

Exterior Fire Fighters will receive:
Physical examination & Vital signs at rest
Vision Screening
Urine analysis
N95 Fit testing +/- & Respiratory Questionnaire

Hepatitis B vaccine 3 shot series (per dose)
